That's an enlightening idea "Grit" book by Angela Duckworth which I am reading. Angela is a Oxford educated psychologist who won MacArthur scholarship among her many achievement. In this book she highlights the importance of perseverance and persistence in success and the misconstrued and self serving attention given to Talent as a excuse.
